On Monday, the new Michelin stars for London is getting revealed (as part of the UK and Ireland 2023 guide) and, in advance of that, this year’s Bib Gourmands will be announced. Different from the stars, restaurants are awarded Bibs due to their “good quality, good value cooking”.

There are usually only four or five bibs awarded each year (a little on the sparse side, if we’re being honest) and that’s the case again this year with four new awards going to London restaurants. They are:

Plaza Khao Gaeng (Arcade Food Hall, Soho)

Evernight (Nine Elms)

Hām (West Hampstead)

The Pelican (Notting Hill)

Michelin do like to throw in the odd curveball, and this year it’s the surprising (but deserved) appearance of Hām (which opened back in 2018).

Keep a close eye on Hot Dinners on Monday 27 March when we’ll be covering the full reveal of this year’s stars.
