UK’s successful celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay is bringing his 3 Michelin-starred restaurant “Restaurant Gordon Ramsay” to Sydney for a three-night residency at Aria commencing May 8. Restaurant Gordon Ramsay’s first residency outside London is “a dream come true” for Ramsay, who collaborated with long-term friend Matt Moran and chef-patron Matt Abe on the exclusive dinner.

The seven-course menu, priced at $495 per person, will feature signature dishes from Restaurant Gordon Ramsay such as the shellfish raviolo and the pecan praline dessert. The kitchen will be helmed by Matt Abe, who started his career as a 17-year-old in the kitchens at Sydney’s Aria. He has since risen up the ranks at Ramsay’s restaurant, where he was appointed chef-patron in 2015.

“I’m so excited to be heading back to the restaurant where my love for fine dining began,” Abe says. “It means so much to be coming home as the first and only three-star Australian chef.”

“What an absolute honour to have Restaurant Gordon Ramsay do their first residency outside London at Aria,” Moran says. “These three nights will be a real highlight in the 23 years of Aria; I can’t wait.”
