Robin Wylde, based in Lyme Regis, England, which opened its doors just a year ago, is one of the 12 new members added to the Michelin list this month. Chef Harriet Masnel said she is proud to represent the great variety and selection available to those who love to eat out.

Since opening in October 2020, the restaurant has suffered two national lockdowns amid complications from the coronavirus restrictions. “I really can’t believe this, I think it’s a really big achievement,” Mansell said. We opened the doors to almost day one a year ago. We were quite surprised when we found out, but we were really pleased, it’s exciting!” she expressed her joy.

The Michelin Guide describes Robin Wylde’s menu as a ‘test of local produce’ and continues: “The food has great visual appeal and there is also a selection of local and natural wines. The interior is elegant and understated, and the service enthusiastic and warm.”

12 restaurants have been announced for the month for the 2022 Michelin Guide, which will be unveiled at next year’s launch event.
