Despite the COVID-19 epidemic approaching its third year in China, the food and beverage industry in Guangzhou is making progress, while the Michelin Guide Guanzgzhou was announced on Tuesday, August 23, 2022.
While this event draws attention as the 5th year in which the Michelin Guide was published in the culinary capital city of Guanhzhou, where world cuisines come together, while determining the best in the region, the Michelin Guide awarded awards in 7 categories: Three Stars, Two Stars, One Star, Bib Gourmand, Michelin Plate, Young Chef and Service Award.
According to the announced list, two new restaurants have been added to the One Star category: Styles and Xin Ji. Stiller is located in Guangzhou’s Garden Hotel, opened by Chef Stefan in Shanghai. Tommy Zhang, who is also chef at Stiller, received the young chef award.
