IBA, one of the most important fairs for the bakery, pastry and snack industry since 1949, will take place for the 25th time between October 24-28, 2021 in Munich.

The fair, which is planned to take place in September, was taken into October with the change of date and day. The fair, which lasted for 6 days, will open its doors to visitors for 5 days this year. Michael Wippler, President of the German Bakers’ Federation, makes the following statement: “We decided to shorten the duration of the fair in consultation with industry experts and conducted a survey. We now need a compact and efficient exhibition program and focus on the needs of the food industry.”

Contests will also be organized in the IBA Food Fair program which will take place in 2021. With the “IBA UIBC CUP Bakers” competition, visitors will be able to see the skills of pastry chefs and bakers from all over the world. 57 countries, 1,358 exhibitors and 77 thousand visitors came to the fair which took place in previous years. Fair officials think that the number of exhibitions will be the same for October.
