The new fine-dining restaurant inspired by 80s and 90s cuisine opens in Pop Brixton on December 3rd. Chef Robbie Lorraine and co-owner Martyn Barrett explain the concept of a shipping container as not only a restaurant but also a pop-up event.

The restaurant gets its name from the British sitcom series Only Fools and Horses and excites not only the fans of the series but also gastronomy lovers. The restaurant which is built in a shipping container aims to put a “brilliantly cheeky twist” on traditional British dishes. “I’ve always had a vision for something like this so I’m really excited to be bringing it to life now. Food brings back so many memories for people and I really enjoy tapping into some of these with some modern twists on things we used to eat. We live in strange times so I hope some of these warm memories of our childhood will give people some comfort!” says Lorraine.

Only Food and Courses offer a high-end culinary experience in a fun environment. The first venue will open in London’s street food center Pop Brixton on December 3rd.
