New York entrepreneur and restaurateur Will Guidara has announced that he wants to transform an out-of-town New York castle into a luxury development that includes a hotel, two restaurants, and private residences. Nearly two years after fine dining restaurant icon Eleven announced his departure from the Madison Park and Make It Nice restaurant group, the details of restaurateur Will Guidara’s next project were revealed and it was stated that it would bring EMP-level luxury beyond New York.

The Times Union’s news, Guidara is reportedly in contract to purchase Migdale Castle, part of a sprawling 350-acre property in the town of Washington, near Poughkeepsie. He is hoping to transform the castle into a luxury hotel similar to other swanky rural resorts like Blackberry Farm in Tennessee, and has proposed two restaurants, an indoor pool and spa, and private residences among other amenities.

This project is considered to be the first major project of restaurateur Will Guidara, who made Eleven Madison Park one of the best restaurants in the world.
