Organized by Nestlé Professional for the 33rd time this year, Toque d’Or Competition & Hospitality Awards will start in the first half of 2021 with a new format.

Toque d’Or, one of the most anticipated organizations of the gastronomy World, is changing the format this year, after the 2020 competition was moved to digital platforms. The competition, which aims to provide young chefs with important experience and networking opportunities, will take applications from entry level front and back house professionals, college students and apprentices. The program of the competition will also be arranged so that the working competitors and students can participate.

“2020 has been an unprecedented and hugely challenging year for hospitality. Through it all, we’ve pulled together and, now more than ever, it’s important we work as a community to help build a sustainable future for the hospitality industry” says Katya Simmons, managing director of Nestlé Professional United Kingdom and Ireland.

According to the published schedule, application process will continue until January 31, 2021. Competitors are expected to start their first assignments as of February 1st and the finalists will be announced on April 30. The final show is expected to be held on the last week of June.
