Michelin-starred restaurant Elske in Chicago announced that it will close for the second time during the pandemic process. Owners of the restaurant cited difficulties in finding staff as the reason for Elske’s closure.

“Due to staffing shortages, we are unable to execute Elske at the level of service and hospitality we strive to uphold,” an announcement that went out Sunday afternoon via a newsletter reads. Elske’s owners Anna and David Posey said: “We will take some time to renew the restaurant, focusing on how to become more sustainable and successful in this new chapter of the service industry.”
