One of Asia’s biggest gastronomy events, International Chef Summit Asia, was held in Taichung National Theatre in Taipei, Taiwan. 23 famous chefs from 6 big cities of Asia attended the summit.

The chefs who couldn’t attend the summit due to COVID-19 restrictions shared their cooking techniques and plans for the post-pandemic world via pre-recorded video messages and live streams. Zaiyu Hasegawa from Den, Hiroyasu Kawate from Florilége, Janice Wong of 2am: Dessertbar, Kirk Westaway of JAAN by Kirk Westaway, Han Li Guang from Labyrinth, Jason Tan of Euphoria, Daniel Chavez from OLA Cocina Del Mar and American chef Tim Butler of Eat Me in Bangkok were among the chefs who attended while Andrea Petrini, the founder of GELINAZ!, made an appearance.
