Receiving a greens star with the most recent Michelin Guide Belgium & Luxembourg, Humus Hortense’s owner and chef, the receiver of the Best Vegetable Chef distinction given by Gault & Millau, Nicolas Decloedt started the “Save The Harvest” movement.

Chef Nicolas Decloedt is shining a light on the “unsung heroes” of the Belgian hospitality sector which has been closed since October, the ones who have been affected by the pandemic, the producers and farmers by starting the “#savetheharvest” movement. Chef Decloedt aims to support small-scale producers by keep buying produce from them and making pickles, condiments and jams out of them in the meantime.
