Italian chef Gianni D’Amato has taken over the historic Locanda Miranda in Tellaro. “We want to keep our name and business recognizable,” D’Amato said.

Locanda Miranda, the local restaurant of the picturesque Ligurian village of Tellaro, has reopened with a new culinary story. D’Amato said of the restaurant he has revived: “We were looking for a place that could be like a nice home, we didn’t want to own any place, we wanted to have a lot of characteristic features. This idea had been flashing for some time after the earthquake in Reggiolo. Our thoughts went further, I intended to return to the areas where I lived my youth. I am happy to be here today, we had a very happy welcome and I am proud of it.”
