Chain companies such as Costa, Caffè Nero and Starbucks recalled nearly 100 products from the market due to the suspicion of salmonella in British food supplier Cranswick Country Foods products. Most of the products recalled from the market consist of chicken sandwiches, wraps and ready meals produced between 11 – 20 May.

In a statement made by Cranswick, customers who purchased products manufactured between these dates were asked to return the products. Work continues with the Foods Standards Agency to find the source of the bacteria.
