Gourmand World Cookbook awards found their owners at a ceremony. In the final ceremony held in Umea, Sweden on Saturday, June 4, 2022, France won the first place with Le Cordon Blue, and Austria won the second place with the Culinary World Cup.

Turkish chef Ali Açıkgül’s book “Unutulan Lezzetler” (Forgotten Tastes), based on Malatya dishes, was selected as the third in the world in the Professional Food Books category at the world’s most prestigious cookbooks competition, Gourmand World Cookbook Awards 2022.
