The team behind the Mahdi in Hammersmith is opening a brand new luxury Persian restaurant called Beluga at Notting Hill Gate.

The new West London restaurant will offer guests luxurious dining experience with a VIP bar and private restaurant rooms. Beluga will bring a new definition to the concept of luxury, with Italian designer Roberto Cavalli’s wallpaper, as well as Swarovski chandeliers and Versace cutlery. The restaurant’s menu will offer mixed grills and appetizer-style dishes similar to its sister restaurant, Mehdi, as well as the food the restaurant is named after – caviar. It will also offer a dedicated cocktail bar with high-end cocktails, a first for the Notting Hill Persia Restaurant Group, which has not yet entered the drinks industry.

Arman Rahiminejad Tafreshi, from Notting Hill Persia Restaurant Group, told Standard UK: “It’s going to be fantastic. It will change Persian cuisine for London and be something no one has ever seen before.”

The luxury new restaurant will be located on 147-149 Notting Hill Gate but an opening date has not yet been confirmed.
