No new stars arrived in Prague in 2021, but Field and La Degustation Bohême Bourgoise retain their Michelin stars. On the other hand, the Guide awarded two restaurants a new Bib Gourmand rating this year: The Eatery and Dejvická 34.

The Eatery offers Daily menus of seasonal Czech cuisine. The place, which has a wide kitchen counter, draws attention with its industrial style. Dejvická 34 by Tomáš Černý offers a charming atmosphere to the North of the river. Talking about the change in the guide, Michelin Guide International Director Gwendal Poullennec said, “We are delighted to have found two more restaurants to add to our list of Bib Gourmand awards in Prague. These restaurants represent the great value for money that can be found in the city, whilst also offering high-quality cooking with fantastic flavors.”

Although the Michelin Guide did not give the city a new star this year, it add 4 new restaurants to this year’s selection. Výčep is a modern pub that pairs delicious Czech food with its beer selection Taro is a restaurant that focuses on Asian cuisine with its a la carte lunch and evening tasting menu. Bockem stands out with its original and contemporary interpretation of traditional Czech flavors. Located in the Mosaic Hotel, QQ Asian Kitchen offers fresh, well-priced dishes with bold flavors. Commenting on Prague’s food culture, Pullennec said, “Prague offers something for everyone, with an increasingly varied selection of restaurants adding to its dynamic dining scene. Many of these restaurants can be found away from the city center: trendy, contemporary spots that reflect modern Prague, whilst still paying respect to the country’s culinary traditions.”
