In regions with high coronavirus cases in Greece, it was decided to close cafes, restaurants and bars as of November 3.

Many countries have started to apply curfews again against the coronavirus epidemic in Europe. Since last week, new measures have been taken in Greece, where night curfew has been imposed in the regions most affected by the epidemic, including the capital Athens. In his statement, Prime Minister Kiryakos Miçotakis announced that the curfew imposed at night in areas with high cases will be extended and cafes, restaurants and bars will be closed for 1 month in these regions.

Businesses, announced by Miçotakis saying “We must act immediately” and closed within the scope of the measures to take effect on November 3 will only be able to provide package services. Cinema and museums will also be closed, while universities will continue their education online.
