The ‘Harlem EatUp!’ food festival, organised by Marcus Samuelsson and Herb Karlitz, will raise donations on television tomorrow with the new name ‘Harlem ServesUp!’ this year.

The New York food festival, which began six years ago and welcomes big names, was cancelled this year due to COVID-19 and will raise donations for the restaurant industry and charities on television with its new name ‘Harlem ServesUp!’. The event, which starts tomorrow at 19.00 pm and lasts 1 hour, will be broadcast on the abc7NY channel and will host cooking demos, special guests and messages. “In the absence of our week-long celebration, we knew we had to find a new way to celebrate the incredible small businesses that are the heartbeat of this community and also raise funds for charities that do a lot of great work for our neighbours in need,” Samuelsson said in a statement on his Instagram account.
