In a statement from Claridge’s, one of the most important hotels in London, it has been confirmed that Executive Chef Martyn Nail and head chef Adam Peirson have left the hotel.

Nail had worked for 36 years and Peirson for 22 years at the five-red-AA-star hotels. “Claridge’s has been privileged to work with chef Martyn Nail for over 36 years and chef Adam Peirson MBE for 22 years. They are both extremely talented chefs and their culinary creativity and dedicated contribution to Claridge’s has been outstanding during that time. We are sorry that they will be leaving Claridge’s and we wish to take this moment to thank them for everything during their time with us, and wish them every future success.” the hotel said in a statement.

Claridge’s ended its partnership with chef Daniel Humm last year after they failed to agree on a plan to move Michelin-starred restaurant Davies and Brook to a fully plant-based menu.
