London’s 2 Michelin-starred restaurant, The Greenhouse, has announced its permanent closure due to financial reasons.

Restaurants set to open in the UK on July 4 but 2 Michelin-starred restaurant The Greenhouse, which has the best wine list, will not get involved. “It is with great sadness I confirm the Greenhouse Mayfair will not be reopening,” the Head Chef Alex Dilling confirmed the closure in a post he shared on Instagram. The successful chef Dilling, who has worked at the restaurant for the last 2 years, said: “You are all incredibly talented and I am so proud to have called you my colleagues but more importantly my friends. I have no doubt we will all cross paths again… If anyone is looking for staff please DM me the position you are looking to fill and I will happily forward you a cv of one of these incredible talented people.”
