He added that the world has discovered the Peruvian culture and reality, and the importance of local farmers, fishermen, cheese producers, chefs and indigenous people in the Peruvian cuisine. Michelin starred Peruvian chefs Gastón Acurio and Virgilio Martinez played a major role in the recognition of food in their country.
