Leading hospitality firms ITC Hotels, Radisson Hotel Group and Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels are taking several initiatives to serve health care providers and the community in cases of Coronavirus outbreak in India.

ITC Hotels, Radisson Hotel Group and Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels are taking several initiatives to serve health care workers and the community in cases of coronavirus outbreak in India. Benefiting from its rich expertise in food and Lodging Services, ITC Hotels said in a statement that the company’s main initiative was food distribution between cities according to the requirements of local governments and hospitals. In New Delhi, ITC Maurya and Sheraton give migrant workers more than 1,500 meals a day for distribution; ITC Hotels said ITC Gardenia in Bengaluru supported it with 15,000 meals a day and 1,000 food packages for 15 days. In Mumbai, ITC Grand Central made arrangements to deliver meals to doctors at MG Hospital. The Fortune Hotel in Lucknow also assists by offering more than 1,000 meals a day. ITC Hotels said this initiative would be implemented gradually in other metropolises such as Kolkata, Chennai and Hyderabad. ITC Hotels has stated that it is fully committed to serving national priorities for the duration of this unprecedented situation. Similarly, the Radisson Hotel Group also contributes in various ways to support the government and the community in the fight against coronavirus. “I am glad to mention that, along with our partners, we at Radisson Hotel Group, are collectively reaching out to nearly 20,000 beneficiaries per day with food and food supplies and have contributed monetary backing so far to various state relief funds and Prime Minister’s relief fund,” Radisson Hotel Group South Asia MD and Vice-President (Operations) Zubin Saxena said.
