Atelier Crenn, the three-Michelin-starred restaurant of world-renowned chef Dominique Crenn, once again included meat on her menu. Crenn has become the first chef to partner with a meat production company grown from animal stem cells, Upside Foods announced on Thursday.

Crenn, who has not included meat on their menu since 2018 to protest the negative environmental footprint of meat production, said she was excited to showcase UPSIDE Chicken. “People are finally waking up to the downsides of conventional meat production. Chefs need to lead the way in making more conscious product choices. I’m excited to be collaborating with UPSIDE Foods and am looking forward to bringing meat back to Atelier Crenn that is delicious and better for the world,” said Crenn.
