VI. The International Gastromasa Gastronomy Conference started with our guests from all over the world! We were with our chefs throughout the day with a full program.

In the morning, we made a good start by visiting the famous Hagia Sophia Mosque, the great monument where cultures meet, before many wonderful places to go. Our world-famous guests were fascinated by the Hagia Sophia Mosque, one of the most important symbols of Istanbul with its architecture and history. Our next stop was Matbah Restaurant and sahlep, one of the most special tastes of Ottoman cuisine, was presented to our guests. Serdar Balta, who hosted us at Matbah Restaurant and gave us a pleasant experience, stated that he was very pleased with our visit.

We walked around the colorful stalls in the Historical Spice Bazaar, whose origins date back hundreds of years, and got information about thousands of spices and shopped. Just before our visit to the Spice Bazaar, we witnessed a very colorful moment. Our chefs literally went out of the way and experienced one of our famous street delicacies, kokorec!

We had our lunch with the most special tastes of Turkish cuisine at Zennup 1884 with the presentation of the famous chef Ömür Akkor. We tasted raw meatballs specially prepared by Ömür Akkor for our guests and witnessed a wonderful show. One of our guest chefs, Igor Grechkin, stated that he was extremely pleased to be at Gastromasa, while Oriol Castro stated that Istanbul fascinated him and Gastromasa assumed an important role in the world of gastronomy.

Gastromasa started with an enjoyable program and will continue at full speed. Stay tuned!
