Hosting the most important Michelin-starred chefs, sommeliers, mixologists, and trend-setting culinary geniuses in Turkey, the International Gastromasa Gastronomy Conference, which will be held for the seventh time this year, continues to shape the gastronomy world and expand our horizons with its full program and distinguished participants. On November 19-20, Gastromasa with the theme of “Sustainability & Biodiversity”; Gastromasa Pastry, Gastromasa Bar and Gastromasa Hospitality are getting ready to leave their mark on world gastronomy with their new concepts!

Dom Carella, one of the star F&B consultants, is meeting with the gastronomy industry and its fans in the organization that will take place at the Haliç Congress Center.

Domenico Carella, born in 1984, originally from the Basilicata coast, he enriched his wealth of experience by traveling and working abroad. He is Bar Manager of 8 1/2 Otto e Mezzo Bombana in Shanghai – awarded as Bartender of the Year in Asia for “That’s Shanghai” in 2015 – Group Bar Manager of Bokan Canary Wharf in London and Beverage Director of Pirata Group in Hong Kong, with an Italian parenthesis as Group Bar Manager for Dry Milano. In 2019 he participated in the development of the well-known Milanese hospitality brands Langosteria and Aimo e Nadia, followed by opening his concept place Carico – Casual Risto Cocktail in February 2020 – which was awarded among the best Italian Cocktail Bars by Gambero Rosso 2021 Bar d’Italia guide. One of the major interpreters of the concept of the bar as a “liquid kitchen,” Carico blends his knowledge of ingredients and flavours to create minimalist cocktails that perfectly balance texture and taste, often using unexpected ingredients and borrowing cooking techniques, without ever forgetting the mixing of the great classics.

Also collaboration on the development of some important brand and restaurants with awarded chefs such himanshu Saini, Ana Ros , Mauro Colagreco. Founder of Carico Milano (eclectic Cocktail Bistrot counted as the best cocktail bar in Italy in 2021 for gambero rosso and in the Discovery chart of the world 50 best bars and restaurant) and The Martini Room, the first room dedicated exclusively to martini cocktails in the world and the first ever timed bar on the planet.
In his collaboration and consultancy the approach to an environmentally friendly vision and sustainability is the key of the success, making the different departments taking the best out of each other like food and beverage.
