In London, the Danish dining sensation, Jordnær, surprised an entire world culinary community, as the restaurant went from not even being amongst the Top 51-100 and straight into the holy halls of The World’s 50 Best Restaurant List with a remarkable first ranking as No. 38 at the international culinary Oscars.

Chef Eric Vildgaard states:

“Love conquers all! Less than 5 years ago we sold Tina’s diamond ring and watch to be able to buy plates and glassware for ours then very humble dining room. Jordnær is a fine dining restaurant created inside a humble three-starred hotel in the suburbs of Copenhagen. It’s the grand love story of Eric & Tina Kragh Vildgaard – Chef and Maître d’ of an establishment that has taken the Nordic,- and now also the world’s restaurant scene by storm within a short period of years. This while having a family of six children to look after.

Jordnær holds two Michelin stars and The Michelin Nordic Countries Welcome & Service Award, and is as No. 38 on The World’s 50 Best Restaurant List.
