Verona is getting ready to host Italy’s largest wine museum. Museo del Vino (MuVin) in the Veneto region in the northeast of Italy was announced at Vivitaly, one of the most important wine fairs in the world. In MuVin, where wine tasting and educational activities will be held in an area of 215,000 square meters, another area of 62,000 square meters will have an “experience path” that will inform the visitors about the history, cultural impact and production methods of wine.

The developer of the MuVin, which inspired by the Scotch Whiskey Experience in Edinburgh and La Cité du Vin in Bordeaux, Enrico Corsi, said: “The museum will open its doors to the 32 million people who visit Lake Garda each year and the nearly 4 million people who visit Verona.”

The MuVin is set for completion in 2026.
