New York City restaurants can be reopened at full capacity. Governor Andrew Cuomo announced on Monday that restaurants, bars, and other businesses could reopen at full capacity from May 19.

According to Eater’s news, state officials announced that restaurants will be able to host their customers indoors at full capacity from May 19th, after allowing restaurants to open with 75 percent indoor capacity this month. However, even at 100 percent capacity, wearing a mask and social distance rule will be applied in businesses. Governor Cuomo said at a press conference Monday: “We’ve been increasing curfews, etcetera. We are going to be increasing capacity level because the number is down low.”
