The Guinea, one of Mayfair’s important restaurants, is bringing Upstairs at 23 to life in the venue right across from the restaurant it took over. They will use this place, which they took over to expand their dining areas during the pandemic period, as a new restaurant until their contract expires.

Head chef Thiago Sue Brigid, baker Asha Sumroy, Vik Seppanen and pastry chef Ghiles Ousmail, winner of this year’s Pate en Croute contest at Maison Francois, will take control of the kitchen.

“The five-course menu will change daily depending on the chefs in charge and the best and most interesting produce available from our butcher, fishmonger and fruit and veg supplier,” manager Oisin Rogers said in a statement.
