Michelin-starred chef Brad Carter opened One Star Doner Bar in Manchester. Carter, who will add his own interpretation of kebab with a new perspective, says that kebab is one of the best meals he has ever eaten.

Brad Carter, chief executive of Michelin-starred Carters of Moseley in Birmingham, first started One Star Doner as a takeaway project when his restaurant closed. However, after the attention it received, it is now expanding its business and opening its new venue in Escape to Freight Island, an open-air venue with a capacity of 2000 people. After experiencing Gemüse Kebab in Berlin, one of the best meals he has ever eaten, and other Berlin Street kebabs, Carter took action to interpret kebabs in his own way. The kebabs, all served on pide flatbreads sourced from a Turkis bakery in Manchester, Carter also adds British products to the menu.
