Franco Pepe

Franco Pepe, the third generation representative of a baker family, learned the kitchen by watching his grandfather and father. Armed with these two generations of experience, Franco opened Pepe in Grani in 2012, and in a short time it became a place where experimentation, craftsmanship, hospitality and education meet.

Pepe obtains the ingredients used in making pizzas from local suppliers and uses a unique mixture of pizza flour. These efforts of Franco Pepe do not go unrewarded, and his mastery enables him to win the ‘Pizza Award’, the ‘Best Chef Special Award’, in 2021 and 2022. In addition, in 2023, he received the title of ‘Best Pizza Chef’ by being ranked number one in the best Pizzaioli list by The Best Chef.
