Clare Smyth

Trained in the world’s best kitchens, including Alain Ducasse’s Le Louis XV in Monaco, Clare Smyth worked for 3 Michelin-starred Restaurant Gordon Ramsay for 13 years before opening Core by Clare Smyth.

He was awarded Membership of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in recognition of his contribution to gastronomy in the United Kingdom. Smyth, who was awarded 3 Michelin stars with Core by Clare Smyth, is the first and only British female chef.
Smyth was also awarded the title of ‘The World’s Best Female Chef’ in 2018 by The World’s 50 Best Restaurants. Clare Smyth is also the head of the Bocuse d’Or’s England team.
