Swiss restaurants with a new Michelin star were announced at a ceremony in Lugano. The list of 6 new two-star restaurants included twelve restaurants that received one star. At the ceremony, the world famous chef Andreas Caminada was named “Super Star of Gastronomy”. 4 special awards were also given at the ceremony. Young Chef Award was awarded to Maria Robert, Sommelier Award to Marc Almert’s, Service Award Ruth Wiget-Keizer and Chef Mentor Award to Andreas Caminada.
